First, I was provided an online visit, which was very convenient for me and Dr. Arreaza was even early to my appointment which was great. I didn’t feel like she was in a rush, and she answered all my questions and provided answers to results of another test that I had gotten which wasn’t the primary reason for my visit. She has a great bedside manner and is very comfortable and easy to talk with. I felt well cared for. 7/31/25

When I found out I was pregnant, I wanted to find the best doctor, especially if they deliver at iNova Fairfax. After doing some research, I came across Capital Women’s Care. At my first appointment, I had Dr. Leah Foster. She was amazing!! She answered all of my questions and concerns and made me feel confident and comfortable that all would be well, especially as a black woman and first-time mom. The receptionists were great, especially an African American Woman. Im not sure what her name is, but she was very personable, kind, and respectful. She remembered my name and took great care of me, especially when I had my glucose test and noticed that something was wrong with me while I was waiting for the hour to be over. The nurse technicians were so kind and sweet. All the nurse practitioners were top-tier. Ciara, Samantha, and Michelle! Dr. Foster, Dr. Arreaza, Dr. Heiden, and Dr. St. Thomas, Thank You! You all took great care of me, making my experience wonderful, especially Dr. St. Thomas. Every time I saw her at the office and hospital, she was like a breath of fresh air. Though I really hoped she would deliver my baby, I’m glad that I met her and was able to have her a part of my journey as a first-time mom. Capital Womens Care is great and I highly recommend them. 8/14/25

Dr. Heiden made me feel extremely comfortable and at ease after our appointment. I went in with lots of questions about my pregnancy as I was concerned of having back-to-back c/s. She explained and addressed all my questions and concerns. Dr Heiden had delivered my last baby and with such a positive experience, I came back to this practice because of her. It’s hard finding an OB that truly cares about their patients, and I’m glad you have one that does! 9/25/25

Even though I moved over 500 miles away, I still return to see two of my favorite specialists, and Dr. Jefferies is one of them. She is an amazing doctor who is skilled, personable, and dedicated to my overall health and well-being. Dr. Jefferies takes time to listen, explain, and reassure. Her professionalism, demeanor, and communication skills are what set her apart from the rest. I am always pleased with the level of service I receive and consider Dr. Jefferies to be among the best of the best. 9/9/25

NP Michelle Funk has an excellent bedside manner. She consistently reviews my medical history beforehand and stays well-informed about my health, preferences, and concerns. I always feel at ease in her care and consider her a top-tier professional. 10/16/25

Office is nice and bright, it’s not busy/crowded, all in all a comfortable and inviting environment. Everyone was friendly, polite, and helpful. Ciara was knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and patiently answered all of our questions; and even went out of her way to get us information that we needed to make a decision. 10/31/25

Although I am not a new patient with the practice, it was the first time I met with Dr. Arreaza. I was interested in re-starting HRT and she seemed very knowledgeable about menopause and HRT, such as the benefits and risks of being on it. She was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction and had additional recommendations for me. I really appreciated that she wanted to see me again in 3 months to see how everything was working. The first time I went on it, there really wasn’t any follow up like that except for my annual visit the following year. 9/23/25

Dr. Foster is a kind and caring physician who is highly professional and trustworthy. She makes it very easy to talk to and address concerns. She does a thorough assessment. She asks appropriate questions and educates as much as possible for all pertinent scenarios. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. And the phlebotomist on site on February 24th was a champion for patients and the experience of getting blood drawn. 2/25/25

My recent appointment with Dr. Heiden was fantastic as always. The medical team there is friendly and respectful and always puts me at ease. They truly provide ideal care and don’t make me feel rushed. As a woman, these types of appointments can be exhausting. Dr. Heiden is a great listener and she has helped me feel better about my healthcare concerns and choices. Thank you for being AMAZING! 6/14/25

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kara Jefferies for over 10 years now, and highly recommend her and her practice. She is patient, kind, caring, and genuine. She is professional and I 100% trust her with any medical advice and my health. I never feel rushed during my appointments and she takes the time to listen to all my questions and concerns.
